Universal Account Number (UAN) is a 12-digit unique number allotted to an EPF member. It is a permanent number and remains valid throughout the life of a member. Your employers can generate UAN. In case of a change in employment, previously allotted UAN may be provided by the employer.
The purpose of UAN is to enable a member to access their PF balance, check and withdraw it at any time without the help of the employer. How you can check EPF balance check without UAN number:
Step 1: Log in at EPF home page of epfindia.gov.in
Step 2: Click on ‘Click Here to Know your EPF Balance”
Step 3: You will be redirected to epfoservices.in/epfo/. Go to “Member Balance Information”
Step 4: Select your state and click at your EPFO office link
Step 5: Enter your PF Account Number, name and registered mobile number
Step 6: Click on ‘Submit’ and your PF balance will be displayed.
How to withdraw EPF without UAN:
